We're happy to have this website to anchor The Joy of Sets Blog, Irish Set Dancing Social Network and other web presences we've managed to put together in the last few years. The Gathering 2010

Plans are underway for the February 2010 Gathering in Killarney, one of the biggest Irish set dancing and traditional Irish music events of the year. View the event flyer [printable PDF flyer] and the rate sheet [printable PDF flyer]. Rates include hotels or apartments, some meals, and the set dancing, music, and other events. Single or multiple-event tickets are available, if you live locally (in Ireland, that is). Visit The Gathering website for more information, where you can view the various accommodations

Boston always has a good representation at The Gathering. If you've an interest in attending or enjoy reminiscing over past Gatherings, read Frank's blog post on the 2009 Gathering and Eileen's account of her first Gathering. Irish Set Dancing Social Network

Join the international Irish Set Dancing social network at irishsetdancing.ning.com (just type that in the address bar to access the website) to share events, videos, study notes for sets, photos, and such, and contact other set dancers (membership required to comment, but anybody can have a look)..

Moisture Wick Polos Special "stay dry" golf shirts for men are available by special order. These are excellent quality shirts and "wick" any perspiration from the exertion of set dancing. Polos come with the small embroidered 2-colored "The Joy of Sets" logo on front.
$40 (depending on price from vendor at time of order). We sometimes order ahead in popular sized if we can take advantage of a good sale and we pass the price break on to the buyer.
